“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.””

What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy can be a powerful tool to help you approach your sexuality with greater confidence and curiosity. As a clinician, I am currently pursuing my AASECT Sex Therapy Certification and under direct supervision for Sex Therapy cases.

I provide education, resources, and positive, compassionate support as you develop the mindset and skills to get you closer to reaching your goals. I take a holistic approach that promotes personal, sexual, and relational wellness. I work with the mind, body, relationships, social, sexual and medical history to help my clients reach a better understanding of their lives and sexuality.

I'm a trauma informed, sex positive, licensed clinician with education and training in sexuality. I see all different types of sexual concerns, and I treat many different partnering configurations.

What is Relationship Therapy?

Relationship Therapy, or Couple’s Therapy, can be a powerful way to change the course of your relationship so both partners can be happy, fulfilled, and satisfied in the relationship. Other benefits of couples therapy include:

- Improved communication skills: Learn how to communicate effectively in healthier ways.

- Strengthened bond: When your bond is strong, you feel like you’re part of a team. You can feel empowered and able to take on anything that comes your way with the support of your partner.

- Build (or rebuild) trust: Trust is essential to a healthy relationship. Whether it’s broken or you simply haven’t connected on the deep level you want to, emotionally focused therapy can help you build or regain trust in each other.

- Find a better relationship dynamic (in less time): Trying to “fix” things on your own can be frustrating, stressful, and often time-consuming. A therapist can help you improve your relationship in less time than it’ll take if you try to go through the process yourself.

Common issues addressed in couples therapy include:

- Finances - Chronic health issues - Infertility

- Parenting - Out of control behaviors. - Past trauma

- Sex - Substance Use - Emotional distance

- Infidelity -Frequent Conflict / Re-occurring Conflict

- In-laws - Lack of intimacy
