Updated Parking Policy

For Keystone Wellness at Warehouse 210

(Effective April 1, 2025)

As you know, finding parking at Warehouse 210 in the lot can be a struggle during the day- especially on market days. The owner of the building has been working on finding a solution to the parking problem and has come up with the following solution:

Starting April 1, parking for VISITORS (clients) will be limited to the 2 parking spots marked "Visitor". They are located at the far right of the row of parking across from the office. The spots marked MEMBER are not for clients, they are now only for the lease agreement holders (myself and other businesses in the building) as designated by a window permit.

If you park in a MEMBER spot or a parking spot for a surrounding business (Dance company, Bravo market, apartment building, etc) you WILL be subject to towing. Spaces will be monitored by Lancaster Fleet and Auto, so please do not risk it.

So where do you park if the (very) limited parking isn't available?

Option 1: Public Parking Garages or Lots

  • Pros: They always have spots, they're easy to get to, no meter to feed

  • Cons: They cost money, there is some more walking involved

  • Closest Garage: Prince Street Garage (address: 111 North Prince Street Lancaster PA 17603)

  • Cost: $2.00, first hour, $2.00 second hour, $1 every hour that follows your second hour; max of $15 for the day

  • Closest Lot: Hazel Street Lot (40 North Market Street, Lancaster PA 17603)

  • Cost: Hazel Street Lot is monitored by a parking attendant and the prices seem to vary. From what I'm reading you can expect $3.00 per hour at minimum, so budget $6 to include walking time.

Option 2: Street parking

  • Pros: Can be closer/less walking, feeding the meter is easy on the ParkMobile app

  • Cons: Not always available, parallel parking (ew), it can cost money

  • Cost: $0.25 per 6 minutes. So 70 minutes (gives time for a 50 minute session and walking) divided by 6 minutes = average of $3.00 for parking (feel free to correct my math skills, not my strong suit!)

  • Meter Parking: 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Saturday

Closest Streets to park on:

  • Water Street: metered parking

  • Orange Street: metered parking

  • Mulberry Street: non-metered parking! 2 hour limit

  • King Street: metered parking

Please read any/all signs if you're street parking. Please also look for fire hydrants and hidden driveways!

Thank you for reading this email in its entirety so you can feel prepared before your next in-person session. Here are some thoughts I've had on how to keep parking (on our side) running smoothly and so it doesn't affect your session session time:

What you can do:

  1. As much as possible, arrive early. I know traffic and construction is inevitable. If you're driving in from outside the city please be away there's traffic on Prince Street from construction. I've found that coming in from Prince, you can cut down Lemon Street (or Walnut Street) and then a quick left onto Water Street and drive it the whole way down to West Grant Street to avoid the pile up closer to the center of town.

  2. Arriving early will also give you time to park and walk if you need to. Ideally there will be a spot open, but please leave time for parking.

  3. When you arrive early, you can wait in the hot pink chairs on the second floor at the front of the hallway. I will come out and get you, as usual but the wait time could be used for preparing for your session :)

What I will do:

  1. I will check in with you regarding parking and how it's been. The owner of the space is checking in with tenants for feedback on how the new system is working so please let me know so I can pass it along.

  2. I will be holding session times more closely- our sessions are 50 minutes, so if we end on time, it should open up a spot (potentially in the lot) for the next client coming in. Not guaranteed though!

Thank you again for your time and understanding around the new parking policy changes! Please let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions!
